Meet your therapist:

Meet your therapist

I came to Craniosacral therapy through my own experience with it. Medically trained and working in hospitals as midwife/nurse, I was first very sceptical of the CST. But when my first daughter was born she had birth trauma which was physically shown itself by weakness of the limbs, elongated scull and pulled tissues. I was recommended to go to Craniosacral therapist. By nature I have been always very curious of human body – how it works, the psycho emotional connection it holds. So I decided to try it out myself first. After first treatment my mind was blown away and the rest is now history.

I hold bachelor degree in Midwifery/nursing since 2002
massage therapist certification on Swedish massage 2000.
Craniosacral therapy certificate since 2015 – work with adults, kids over 4 years, conception/pregnancy/birth and newborn. (take continuous trainings on the field of CST)

Additional courses on postnatal doula, Eckart Tolle School of awakening, sound therapy….
My fascination and appetite of the mind, body, spirit is endless and I go where I’m drawn to, continue to educate and experience myself and journey I’m here to lead.

WHAT IS Craniosacral Therapy?

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, extending from the bones of the head, face and mouth (otherwise known as ‘the cranium’) down to the tailbone area (otherwise known as ‘the sacrum’).  Imbalance or dysfunction in this system can cause sensory, motor and/or neurological disabilities.
It is safe, gentle, non- invasive and very powerful therapy form.

How does it work?

It don’t have to be only physical injury to interrupt bodies own balancing systems. In this busy life every day brings its challenges, stress and result often can overwhelm. Even traumatic memories from past can be deeply held in tissues and make its way out resulting as dysfunction or pain in different body areas.

CST is a light touch full body therapy which accesses your physical, emotional and spiritual body at same time. Therapy is carried out while fully clothed, usually lying on a treatment couch. The treatment is client lead, which means that your body determines the pace so that you feel safe and are totally in control. CST is a deeply relaxing bodywork for overall wellbeing. While held gently nervous system will start to release overloaded energy naturally on its own and rebalance itself often quickly.

Conditions treated:

In adults, it is particularly beneficial to those with head, neck, or back injuries, as well as with stress-related dysfunction.
Children, infants and new-borns with early traumas (including Birth Trauma) can benefit from the timely identification and release of restrictions in the craniosacral system, thereby preventing future difficulties such as learning disabilities or hyperactivity.

Although studies show that many people see relief of their symptoms after craniosacral therapy, each person’s situation and reason for the therapy is different and your results may vary.
